Convert Dynamic Disk to Basic Disk

Hi, I am Subhash Bhakt and in this video you will learn how to convert Dynamic Disk to Basic Disk during the Windows Operating System installation.

During the Windows installation process, you will see your installed number of hard disks. Here you will see your hard disk details like: either it is a Basic Disk or it is a Dynamic Disk. If it is basic disc then you can install your OS easily. If it shows unable to install Windows OS on the disk or It is a Dynamic Disc then in this case you have to convert your Dynamic Disc into Basic Disk.

Note: Please take data backup of the laptop before doing this (Warning) this process will erase all data from you hard disk drive. So be Alert.

To convert disk you have to press Shift + F10 key together from your keyboard and follow the steps below:

Don't forget to LIKE, COMMENT, SHARE & SUBSCRIBE

Shift + F10 (to open CMD)
Diskpart
List Disk
Select Disc 0
Clean
Exit

Note: (if you have only 1 HDD on your system, enter 0 If more HDD you need to enter value accordingly)
