Who’s the Primary Domain Controller (Find the Primary DC)
To know follow the steps----Who’s the Primary Domain Controller |
1. Go to Server and open Run then type CMD and click on Ok button.
2. Type the below command and press enter key.
nltest /dclist: iccpsrv.com
Note: the above command is to see the list of all Domain Controllers in your environment and accent the Primary DC with [PDC] as you can see from the cmd line below.
3. To see only the primary domain controller, type your Domain Name after dcname:
nltest /dcname: iccpsrv
Other way is: Open powershell
Get-ADDomainController -Discover -Service PrimaryDC
Done!!!!
